About Us

The Scuba Gym Australia provides Scuba Therapy to people with special needs, such as Quadriplegics, Paraplegics, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Lyme’s Disease, Dandy Walker Syndrome, Hypotonia, Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Motor Neuron Disease, Spina Bifida, Autism, Down Syndrome, PTSD, Amputees and all others who have the desire to learn to scuba dive.

We have seen autistic children concentrate, focus, gain confidence and do activities their parents thought they would never do.

Scuba Diving is also a great activity for people with disabilities is it provides a weight-free environment, giving back the sense of freedom of movement.

Help Us

Make a Difference

Partners can be organisations who donate products or services or money to our cause.

By sponsoring a diver you can pay for Scuba Therapy workouts, thus making sure our work makes a difference for a sponsored diver.

We are always needing volunteers to help us on the pool deck or in the water – with our divers

Come join us for a clean up event and care for our ocean

"Scuba therapy is the best therapy I have ever received as a quadriplegic.
I always look forward to and enjoy our session.
